Tim Folkert's Migration Surfboards label is fairly new, but Tim's time spent building surfboards is not. A Holland, Michigan native who has been living in Santa Cruz, California for a handful of years, Tim has been working professionally as a surfboard sander/polisher for the esteemed Michel Junod - arguably one of California's finest surfboard shapers. Tim's experience has translated well into his own surfboards, and we are stoked to be able to sell them to fellow Great Lakes surfers. As a long time lake surfer himself, Tim knows what our waves are like and is building boards that will not only work well here, but anywhere in the world.

This 9'3 High Performance longboard is a great all around longboard for small to big surf. With a nose just wide enough, it will easily be noseridable. Yet, the more progressive rocker, thinner thickness foil, and pulled in tail will give it more performance aspects that a full on noserider won't. Built with poly foam and poly resin and polshied to a high sheen, this is a gorgeous board that will work well in a wide variety of conditions. Fins included.
