The step rail with reduced volume means that a bottom turn is easy at surfing speeds and the swallowtail holds into a wave face for unbelievable control. Add the side fins for surfing and you have a cross over board that performs not only in the flat water but in the surf too. It is stable on the water and has a balanced handle in the deck that makes transport easy. The diamond traction is vacuum bagged to the board insuring it won't peel up and will provide years of use.
